U5/U6 Player Pathway
At Parker United, our U5/U6 program is where the journey begins for our youngest players. Most kids in this group are experiencing soccer for the first time, so we focus on teaching the basic fundamentals in a fun and supportive environment. Teams are co-ed and combine players from both age groups, creating a balance where younger or newer players can learn alongside peers and gain confidence while older or more experienced players can take on leadership roles and enjoy moments of success. Our goal is to provide a mix of challenge and achievement for all players, fostering a love for the game and a positive first step into the world of soccer.
Primary League Information
Parker United Rec – $150/Season
- One 60 minute team training session each week led by a volunteer head coach, every Wednesday during a 9-week season.
- Game Day every Saturday in the Parker United In-House League, featuring eight weeks of games plus a training week before the season kicks off.
- We do our best to honor coach and teammate requests to make the experience even more enjoyable.

Additional Info
- The Fall season runs from mid August through the end of October, and the Spring season runs from mid-March through mid-May. Each season is a 9-week program, including 8 weekends of games and an additional week of team training to kick things off.
- Teams are coached by parent volunteers, supported by our Director of Coaching (DOC), who provides tailored training plans to ensure consistency and development across all teams.
- For U5-U6, teams are co-ed and play in a fun, fast-paced 3v3 format with no goalkeepers, featuring 5-6 players per team to maximize time on the ball and skill-building opportunities.

Practices will be held at Pinery Park. Games will be held at John Derry Park every Saturday from 10 am – 11 am.
